Tara Wacks joins as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Strategy and Beth Valencia as Vice President of Business Operations, Privacy & Compliance to Build Upon Rapid Growth

Tara Wacks brings expertise in senior marketing positions in healthcare media to the newly created  role  of  Senior  Vice  President  of  Marketing  &  Strategy,  where  she  will  evaluate  and manage strategic  initiatives  and  market  opportunities  that  support  Medicx  Media’s  expanding capabilities.

Prior  to Medicx  Media,  Wacks  was  Vice  President  of  Marketing  for  IAC-owned where she founded a data-driven content studio and launched top websites across health,  tech, personal finance, and food  &  home.

As  Vice  President  of  Ad  Strategy  for  leading women’s  lifestyle  platform SheKnows Media,  she transformed the product  portfolio  with  branded content and native capabilities for advertisers. She also spent over a decade  developing  patient and  consumer  solutions  at  top  health  brands  WebMD  and Medscape.

Beth Valencia brings  more  than  a  decade  of experience in compliance, data governance  and product  integration  to  the  vital  role  of  Vice  President  of Business  Operations,  Privacy & Compliance.

Valencia previously served as Senior Director of Data Governance and Compliance  at  Symphony  Health  Solutions,  where  she  led  the interpretation and education of data  supplier  and  regulatory compliance  requirements  throughout  the organization.

In addition,  Valencia  held Quality  Assurance  Management,  Practice  Consulting  and  Senior Account  Management  positions at Wolters Kluwer Health.
