This position is responsible for managing the internal and external financial reporting on a regular reporting cycle. Must be able to provide analysis of the financial results both in a reporting and presentation manner.


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Managing the internal and external financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Manage and prepare the executive reporting package and other financial schedules.
  • Lead the identification and defining of operationally relevant KPIs and the creation of dash boards and standard reports that provides relevant and insightful information “at a glance”, ensuring optimal alignment and performance.
  • Analyze financial results and key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate results to leadership.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners to develop annual financial plans and ongoing forecasts for departmental expenses and headcount.
  • Create monthly expense reports and P&Ls; provide variance analysis for management review.
  • Responsible for consolidating financials, headcount reporting, and compensation analysis.
  • Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of finance during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review.
  • Work with team to manage and support all phases of the expense financial planning process including consolidations.
  • Develops and documents internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Foster a team culture of continuous improvement through ongoing learning and provocative analysis that challenges preconceptions and identifies alternative options.
  • Support the annual budget, quarterly forecast and outlook processes with forecasting and presentation template development and system uploads
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the business areas performance against historical, budget, and forecast to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the strategic operating plan.
  • Apply insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results.
  • Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company.
  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyzes, and recommendations.
  • Analyze financial results and key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate results to leadership.
  • Involvement with special projects related to business development, strategic growth and ad hoc analysis.

  • 4-7 years of experience in similar capacity
